Tyler Motorsports Announces 2005 Plans
"This is going to be a very busy summer for myself and Tyler Motorsports," said Stoughton's Jason Tyler when asked about his racing plans for 2005. Tyler competed in the initial WEAVER AUTO PARTS ASA Late Model division at Madison International Speedway after a couple of years racing in the Midwest Truck Series. In 2004 he finished seventh place overall in the points standings with 615 points which included three top five and seven top ten finishes. This summer he not only plans to return to race at Madison International Speedway on Friday nights, but will also compete in the ASA Late Model national series as well.
"We have two cars. One I will run at Madison on Fridays. The other car we'll run at the touring races," said Tyler. "My goal is to try to finish in the top five in two different series. I want to avoid having any DNFs and finish in the top ten consistently," added Tyler. "This is my fourth year of racing. We've met our goals in each year so we're hopeful for this year," he added.
Jason has some very high ambitions when it comes to racing. "Someday I would like the opportunity to race professionally. I would love to be in Formula One someday because of all the high tech the series features. The chassis set up and the technology really interest me, "he added.
Tyler is very appreciative of his great group of sponsors who are behind his efforts in 2005: Wisconsin Union Construction Laborers, Bryant Heating and Cooling by TSI, Stark Automotive Group, Culvers of Stoughton, Main Street Jewelers, Java Junction, Sundby Ready MIx all of Stoughton and Morrison's Auto Salvage of Edgerton.
