Mike Tetzlaff Motorsports Announces Plans to Run The ASA Late Models in 2005
Mike Tetzlaff of Somerset, Wisconsin will campaign the number 75 Monte Carlo in a limited number of the ASA Late Model Series events. Mike is an experienced racer on both dirt and asphalt beginning his career in 1984 driving a WISSOTA Super Stock.
His experience also encompasses pavement late models where he participated in the Mid-American Stock Car Series (MASCS) racing at several Midwest tracks including the Elko (MN) Speedway, The LaCrosse (WI) Speedway, Road America road course in Elkhart Lake, WI. The Milwaukee Mile. Mike also completed the three day racing school at the Texas World Speedway and ran an ARCA tire test session at Daytona International Speedway.
Mike has also crewed on several (then) Winston Cup, Busch Grand National, ARCA and ASA teams at Daytona, Charlotte, Talladega, Atlanta, Texas, Milwaukee, Phoenix, and Rockingham as well as serving as race day spotter for Kenny Schrader, Todd Bodine, Doug Mahlik, Ted Smokstad, Troy Wangerin, Jimmy Horton and the late Tony Roper.
During Mike's career he has competed in a WISSOTA Super Stock on dirt, a late model stock car on asphalt competing in approximately 50 races per year recording three consecutive top five's in track point standings. Tetzlaff Motorsports also does some development for Intercomp Scales.
