Kerwin declared winner in DIRT Pro Stock Tour race at Little Valley.

Though Joey Ladoucuer from Alexandria, Ontario, crossed the line first in the DIRT Pro Stock tour event at Little Valley Speedway on Wednesday, July 3rd, tour point leader Scott Kerwin, from Newfane, who crossed the line second, was declared the winner by Race Director Gary Montogomery, following a thorough analysis of apparent technical irregularities, discovered after the race. According to Montgomery, Ladoucuer was disqualified because of a rule infraction relative to carburetion. Fifth place finisher Dave Schulz from Somerset, who crossed the line fifth, was also disqualified, for an infraction involving carburetion as well.

Thus, the $1,000 winner's check goes to Kerwin, plus he maintains his point lead on the Pro Stock Tour. Also as a result of the DQ, Jon Miller from Olcott, current point leader at Canandaigua Speedway, moves to 2nd place in the event and gets a $500 check. Tom Barren from Ontario, NY, moves up to third, while Jeremy Clark and Pete Stefanski now round out the top five in the official finish.
