LAS VEGAS - The MJ Dean Construction Modified Open Comp is on tap at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Saturday night.

Modified open comp action will resume this year after a one year absence. MJ Dean Construction will sponsor the 50-lap Modified Open Comp. Legends Cars, ARCA Trucks and a demolition derby also are on the card.

Modified drivers from Nevada, California, Utah, Arizona and Colorado will be on hand Saturday night. The Bullring's 2001 Grand American Modified track champion Fabian Bray and runner-up Doug Hamm will defend their hometown track. Dean Kuhn and Roger Carufel Jr., points leaders from Irwindale Speedway, will challenge the hometown champs.

Legends Car drivers will have a final chance to become familiar with the Bullring before the Legends Nationals Oct. 27 in a 30-lap main event. Drivers from across the country are expected to compete Saturday night.

The ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series will make its first appearance at the Bullring. ARCA drivers will compete in a non-point 40-lap main event.

The evening will conclude with a demolition derby.

Pit gates open at 2:00 p.m. Spectator gates open at 5:00 p.m. and racing begins at 7:00 p.m.

General Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens/military personnel and $3 for children 6-12. Children five and under are free. Admission to the Stockyard is $30 per vehicle with a maximum of four people (each additional person is $8). The Family Four Pack (two adults and two children) is available for $20.
