Adamson and Regier to race for SRL championship at LVMS.

LAS VEGAS-- Lonnie Adamson and Troy Regier will have their last chance to clinch the Supermodified Racing League (SRL) championship Saturday at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, when the SRL racing circuit returns for the open wheel extravaganza.

Adamson is holding on to the SRL championship points lead with 683 points, after placing second at Madera Speedway last weekend. Four-time SRL champion, Troy Regier, is closing in on Adamson with 668 points, giving Adamson only a 14-point lead.

Adamson, filling in for the injured Davey Hamilton in his No.14 Hamilton Motorsports Supermodified, and Regier in his No.10 Biswell Motorsport Supermodified will join an estimated field of 30 at LVMS for the last race of the SRL season. Also on the racing card are the USSS Indy Cars, ARCA Trucks, and I.M.C.A. Modifieds.

Pit gates will open at 2 p.m., with spectator gates opening at 5. Practice will begin at 3, and racing commences at 7. General admission is $12 for adults, $10 for senior citizens/ military personnel and $3 for children 6-12. Children five and under are free. A Family Four Pack can be purchased for $25. Admission to the Stockyard is $35 per vehicle (up to four people).
