Depew, NY - The International Supermodified event that was to be held on Thursday, June 29 at Lancaster Motorsports Park met with not only heavy rains, but thunder, lightning and hail. Although the torrential downpour let up by around 8:00 pm, the track surface, particularly in the first turn and on the frontstretch, was inundated and it was deemed impossible to dry it to race conditions before the race curfew set in.

Due to a tight schedule at Lancaster, which had their previous Saturday event also fall to rain, the ISMA 50 has been bumped from the schedule and cancelled entirely. The second Lancaster date on the ISMA schedule is slated for August 5 and rain checks from the June 29 show will be honored on that day.
