(July 12) - One lucky car owner will walk away with a new Pace Race Jack this Sunday at White Mountain Motorsports Park in New Hampshire. The high performance, lightweight aluminum jack will be awarded by random draw among those car owners whose car has attempted to qualify for all of the International Pro Stock Challenge (IPSC) events this season, including White Mountain Motorsports Park, event number six on the 11-race 2000 tour. "We thought it might be a neat way to reward the teams when they need it the most," said Marty Block, Racing Division Manager at ARGO Manufacturing, maker of the Pace Race Jacks. "The random draw is a good way to keep chances on a level playing field. That way it's not necessarily the guy who always runs at the top and wins everything getting this, too. We also realize the need for any racing series to have a loyal following of competitors and every incentive helps in that matter." Randy Black, Competition Director for the IPSC agrees. "We need the support of a core group of racers," said Black. "To have a well-known company like ARGO Manufacturing realize the importance of this and help us in attaining that goal is gratifying." Car owners eligible (to-date) for the draw include: Tom Estes (#00-Ben Rowe, driver); Sam Sessions (#0); Mike MacKenzie (#02); Leo Cochrane (#8); Ralph Nason (#10); Fred McGillan (#28-Kirk Thibeau, driver); Jay Cushman (#29-Larry Gelinas, driver); Tom Mayberry (#45); Bob Riley (#50 - Mike Riley, driver); Tom Mason (#66-Andy Shaw, driver); Gary Smith (#75); Bill Chick (#82-Kenny Wright, driver); Adam Friend (#92); John Flemming (#97). Race teams from all forms of motorsports use the Pace Race Jack line, everywhere from NASCAR Winston Cup to Saturday night racers at local tracks. Pace Race Jacks offers a model for every application and can custom build jacks to suit the requirements and/or capabilities of the user. ARGO Manufacturing is located is Wasco, Illinois and they or one of their dealers can be reached by calling 800-327-3552. Watch for their new web site at www.argo-pace-rapco.com.
