FIELD: 24 cars. Starting positions 1-10 will be determined by time trials. Positions 11-20 by heat race results. Positions 21, 22, and 23 have been established as series provisionals with the first three drivers from the final 1999 IPSC point standings who have not already qualified being assigned these spots. Position 24 has been assigned the top driver in final 1999 NEPSA point standings who has not already qualified. Additional spots may be assigned as Promoter’s Options, at their discretion.

</pre> THE RACE: The Daily News 150 is the 2000 IPSC season opening race and the first ever race of the IPSC/NEPSA alliance. The Northeast Pro Stock Association (NEPSA) is a touring series based in New England. There are six IPSC/NEPSA combination shows on the 2000 schedules. The Daily News 150 will see defending series champion Scott Fraser (also the winningest driver in Scotia Speedworld history) compete against the best racers in New England and Eastern Canada. There are a total 12 touring series championships among the drivers entered for The Daily News 150.
