The Indianapolis Speedrome heads into the summer stretch with over 110 cars in the pits for Saturday night's racing. The evening was key for the Red Line Graphics Late Models as they prepare for next week's Jake's 150-Lap Figure-8.

Defending World Figure-8 Champion Curtis McMurtey became the Speedrome's 13th different winner in 14 Oval main events for the Red Line Graphics Late Models. Points leader R.J. Norton, Jr. is the only racer to hit twice on the left-turn only runs. Rookie phenom Mark Tunny chased McMurtrey to the stripe with father Bruce Tunny, Hutchison Signs Trophy Dash winner George Sutton and Norton right behind. Fast qualifier Bobby Douthitt settled for sixth with heat wins going to Rodney Sizemore, Casey White and Christopher Green. Donnie Garrigus III bested David Reel for the win in the Last Chance Race but struggled in the main.

After twenty-seven years behind the wheel most racers would be ready to pass the helmet on to the next generation. George Sutton is ready to win more races. The Speedrome veteran came from deep in the field to take control of the Late Model 50-Lap on the tenth lap and held off the best the Speedrome had to offer. Sutton crossed the stripe just ahead of points leader R.J. Norton, Jr., defending champ Bruce Tunny, Bill Tunny, Jr. and oval winner Curtis McMurtrey.

Rick Gillespie came home on top of the Chuck's Race Car Parts Outlaw Stocks by parlaying an up front start and some heads-up driving. Charlie Hargraves was second followed by Don Miller, fast qualifier Greg Snow and Gary Mathes. Heat wins went to Charlie Oakes, Miller and Ricky Amos. It was Gillespie's first Outlaw Stock feature win in 2003 and the seventh different winner in the division.

It was one of the roughest Sunshine Cafe Roadrunner features we've had in a while but it was just what Scott Tabor ordered as he topped the field for the 20-Lap Main. Points leader Jimmy Hardcastle came through the thirty-one car field for second followed by Nick Moore, Shawn Eastridge and Bill Hasson. Sam Wilson, Todd Amos, Michael Carson and Scott Camhi were heat winners in a night that saw forty cars in the class.

Michael George had been the bridesmaid but never the bride until Saturday night at the Indianapolis Speedrome. After a rough run that saw two red flags in the 20-lap feature George took the checkers after getting around John Fullenkamp and Chuck McGinnis. Darrell Keith and Scott McKinney followed with points leader down a lap in fifteenth place. Fullenkamp, Jamie Brickley and Jerry Moore were tops in the qualifiers.
