Saturday, July at the Indianapolis Speedrome - Greenwood, Indiana's Bruce Tunny was an odds-on favorite to take all 3 50-Lap features at the 25th running of the Triple-8 Late Model Championship after sweeping last week's oval and figure-8 mains.  Tunny fell short of his mark but did dominate and win the 50-Lap Figure-8 portion of the program. Fred Bear, Jr. captured the first event a clockwise oval race and Bill Tunny Jr. grabbed the second main in a normal oval run.  Joe Sheedy proved he has the car to beat whether turning left or right as he captured a unique clockwise oval 25-lapper for the Chuck's Race Car Parts Stocks.  "Heavy Metal" Herb Carson and Vernon Schmidt grabbed wins in the Sunshine Cafe Roadrunners.
