The Summer Nationals series will visit 26 tracks from June 15 through July 14. Expected to race for the honor of St. Louis-area tracks are Ed Dixon, Kevin Gundaker, Mark Gansmann, Jeff Johns, Rodney Melvin, Mark Oller, Tim Ratajczyk, Ken Rumble, Steve Shive, Dave Jumper, Jason Frankel, Mike Hammerle and many more.

Purses for the 26-race Summer Nationals series total $750,000. The minimum paid to the winner of each late model feature will be $5,000. The top five drivers in UMP national points receive appearance money each night they race, and the series points champion will earn an additional $10,000, making it possible for one driver to win over $200,000.
Adult admission for the June 30th event at I-55 Raceway will be $20. Children 12 years old and younger will be admitted free. Late model time trials will begin at 6:30 p.m. and races begin at 7 p.m. The pit gates will open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand gates will open at 4 p.m.
Also on the race card on June 30th are the UMP Modifieds and AARA Sportsman. The UMP Modifieds thrill the crowd each week at I-55 Raceway with their three and four wide racing. I-55 Raceway is expecting over forty UMP Modifieds and forty AARA Sportsman cars to be on hand for this event.
