HARDEEVILLE, S.C. (June 9, 2001) - Mother Nature had a mind of her own for Saturday's "Low Country Concrete Night at the Races". Racing action was postponed due to persistent rain, and "Low County Concrete Night at the Races" will be held next Saturday, June 16.

In addition to "Low Country Night at the Races", Hardeeville Motor Speedway will host professional motorcycle stunt jumper, "Sky Lungston". Lungston began his career in 1988 after seeing Robbie Knieval jump over the fountains at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, Nev. The Bradenton, Fla. daredevil currently holds two world records and has successfully landed over 3,000 jumps.

Scheduled to compete at Hardeeville Motor Speedway on June 16 are, the O.C. Welch Ford-Lincoln-Mercury Late Models, Legends Cars, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks and the Xtreme Stock Cars. Hardeeville Motor Speedway is located three miles southeast of I-95 on Highway 17. Grandstands open at 5:00 p.m., with qualifying races beginning at 5:30 p.m. Feature races will begin at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $10 for adults, with reduced rates for seniors, military and children. Children under five are admitted free.
