FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. -- (Aug. 15, 2003) Kevin Mosier of Stoney Point extended his winning streak to eight consecutive races (including three features) at the Fredericktown Raceway on Friday night by picking up yet another triple crown (winning his heat, the trophy dash and the feature). Kasey Nations finished in second place in the Olympic Steak House Hobby Stock feature with Doug Savage third, Karl Francis fourth and Kenny Harris fifth. They were followed by Tony "Wildthing" Blue, Mickey Mosier, Nathan Gibson, Leonard Betsch and Brad McKinnon.

Savage won the first heat with Nations second and Mark Howell third. Kevin Mosier won the second heat with Francis second and Gibson third. Mosier won the trophy dash with Savage second and Francis third. In the Sonic Modified class, Joe Giesler of St. Mary returned to the winner's circle as he held off the charge of Jeremy Greenwalt of Caledonia to pick up the checkered flag. Pete Koenig finished third with Tommy Worley Sr. fourth and Scott Carron fifth. They were followed by Billy Ames, Greg Skaggs, Dan Schlueter, Stacy Medley and Nick Werner. Giesler won the first heat with Werner second and Greenwalt third. Worley won the second heat with Tim Brown second and Carron third. Giesler won the trophy dash with Greenwalt second and Werner third.

In the UMP Late Model feature, Kenny "Let's Get Ready To" Rumbel sailed to the victory with John Bohn second, Mike Hammerle third, Tony Boyles fourth and Mike Abney fifth. They were followed by Gary Phillips, Brian Parsons and Brian Stephens.

Hammerle won the first heat with Bohn second and Phillips third. Rumble won the second heat with Boyles second and Abney third. Rumble won the trophy dash with Hammerle second adn Boyles third.

In the RAMS Mini Stock class, Kenny Harris made a couple of early passes to slide into the lead and then hang on for his second consecutive feature win. Dave "The Wolf" Wofford captured second place with Rick Ruch third, Wes Kintz fourth and Jon Paul Reando fifth. They were followed by Kevin Buckley, Shannon Burch, Susan Stewart, Rusty Voyles and Brian Cox. Ruch won the first heat with Harris second and Wofford third. Buckley won the second heat with Kintz second and Reando third. Ruch won the trophy dash with Wofford second and Harris third.

In the Chuck's Short Stop Pure Street class, Theran Pearl of Bismarck was once again the winner with Chris Webb second, Brad Thurston third, Travis Goodman fourth and Wayne Frymire fifth. They were followed by Ronnie Bader, Mike Abney Jr., David Baker, Lenny Terrell and Dustin Homan. Terrell won the first heat with Thurston second and Pearl third. Webb won the second heat with Bader second and Frymire third. Pearl won the trophy dash with Terrell second and Thurston third.

The Wannabees and Hornets were a special class at the Fredericktown Raceway and it was Gene Hoffman winning the 15-lap feature with Don Hoffman second, Ken Williams third, Cassie Crockett fourth and Robbie Hoffman fifth. They were followed by Joe Gruhala, Robert Denny, John Hoffman, C.J. Wright and Scott Geary. Gene Hoffman won the first heat with John Hoffman second and Crockett third. Don Hoffman won the second heat with Williams second and Geary third. Don Hoffman won the trophy dash with Gene Hoffman second and Williams third.

This weekend the Amateur ATVs will race on the flat track at the Fredericktown Raceway and join the UMP Late Models, the Sonic Modifieds, the Olympic Steak House Hobby Stocks, the RAMS Mini Stocks and the Chuck's Short Stop Pure Streets.
