FREDERICKTOWN, Mo.-- (Aug. 16, 2002) Chad Zobrist has basically been unbeatable at the Fredericktown Raceway this summer and Friday night that trend continued as he led from wire-to-wire in the 25-lap UMP Late Model feature.

Mike Hammerle stayed right on Zobrist's tail the entire race, but he was never able to over-take Zobrist's black #78. However on lap 19 Hammerle actually did make the pass of Zobrist when the two got tied up in traffic, but when one of those lapped cars spun out and ended up in the infield the caution flag came out and Zobrist was awarded his position back. The rest is now history.

Ken Rumble finished in third place with Mike Abney fourth and Darrel Moser in fifth. They were followed by John Bohn, Henry Nash, Brian Wolfmeier, Ronnie Jarrells and Rodney Pense.

Hammerle won the first heat with Brad Long second and Rumble third. Zobrist won the second heat with Moser second and Jarrells third. Zobrist won the "Dash For Cash" with Hammerle second and Rumble third.
