Rob Randa won his first career Late Model feature Saturday night at Flat Rock Speedway. Also taking home his first career feature win was rookie Jeff MacZink in the Street Stock B division. Greg Studt won his first Flat Rock Figure 8 race while Ronnie Allen won for the fifth time in the Street Stock A division.

Rob Randa, who recorded the fast time of the evening, started sixth after the inversion. The driver of the Blue Water Industrial #76 took command of the race on lap 20 when he passed outside polesitter, Royce Cornett. While Randa was winging his way to the checkered flag on the final lap, all hell broke loose on the backstretch. Stan Yee Jr. spun and pinched Bill Steinhilber up into the fence. Steinhilber's #67 Lefthander Chassis flipped and landed heavily on its roof. He suffered no injuries and waved to the fans as he rode to the pits with his car on the back of the rollback.

Ron Allen started fifth in the 25 lap Street Stock A division feature & took over the lead on lap 12. Tom Selmi made a late charge for the lead but had to settle for second, his best finish of the season.

Bryan Ausmus and rookie Jeff MacZink had the fans on the edge of their seats when they ran side-by-side for many laps before MacZink inched ahead for the win.

Greg Studt held back a determined Robbie Loving to win his first ever Flat Rock Figure 8 feature event.

The ARCA Lincoln Welders Pro4 division was visiting tonight with John Witham utilizing the second groove to take the lead from Warren Brewer on lap 8.

The first exhibition race for the ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series was held tonight with Gregg Vasko, John Witham, Tullie Esternline and Bill Hartman putting on the demonstration.
