NEW TRACK MANAGER NAMED FOR EAST BAY

MIDDLETOWN, NY - Will Cagle has tendered his resignation effective today as promoter and operator of Will Cagle'’s East Bay Speedway in Tampa, FL.

Since we are not operators or promoters, we have hired Mr. Glenn Donnelly, President of the DIRT organization, on a consulting basis to help us in finding new management for the racetrack.

Mr. Donnelly has sent Jean Lynch, associated with the All Star Circuit of Champions, to temporarily assume the position as acting manager of the speedway.

There will be no racing on Saturday, April 11, but hopefully racing should resume on Saturday, April 18, 1998. There will be further announcements regarding the track’s racing plans soon.

We thank all the fans and race car drivers who have supported the track and Mr. Cagle during the past 14 months. This was a friendly separation. We have a lot of respect for Will Cagle and what he has accomplished in his career and the person he is. We wish Will a lot of luck in his new endeavors.
