DAYTONA BEACH, FL (March 23, 2004) -- The IPOWER DASH Series will return to Motordrome Speedway in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Saturday, July 24, 2004.

The DASH Series has visited Motordrome one time before and that was in September of 2002.

Motordrome is a half-mile semi-banked asphalt oval with wide sweeping turns that lends itself to exciting competition with the IPOWER style of race cars.

Also highlighting the weekend will be the IPOWER Mean Miatas, a Tuner Show, Show and Shine, Glow off, and a Sound off.

The DASH Series will visit the Keystone State twice in 2004. On June 5th, the series will race at Lake Erie Speedway.

"Pennsylvania is a great place for the series to go," says IPOWER executive, Randy Claypoole. "It is one of my favorite because it is home for me."

"When we were there in 2002, so many of the teams and officials expressed how much they enjoyed the fans, the scenery, and the excitement of Pittsburgh and the surrounding area," Claypoole said. "Everyone was ready to go back even before we left town."

The IPOWER DASH Series features six cylinder sport coupes such as: Pontiac Sunfires, Toyota Celicas, Mercury Cougars, and Ford Escort ZX2's.
