Dana Moore and her new team decided it would be best for her to run her first race on a familiar road course. The DMR crew headed by Andy Anderson of Race Car Management came to the track only expecting to get some bugs worked out with the new car and get their driver some seat time.

Everything is new this year for Dana Moore. New tracks, new car, new crew and even a new race suit has just been ordered. Dana's goal for this season is to gain experience in the highly visible and extremely popular circle track racing. "It was a good solid start to the season." Said Moore, who is set to run 30 events in the Legends Car Series this season.

Although she may have felt a little at home on the road course Dana will be changing her focus to circle tracks for the next several races. "The circle tracks are all new to me. I welcome the challenge but plan to take it slow and learn from the other guys at first" said Moore.

This will be a busy season for Dana Moore as she plans to also run races in the Spec Racer Ford road racing series with SCCA, Vintage races with VARA and HSR, Late Model Stock Cars later this year and whatever else she can get into. Dana recently said that she likes to work on the Boris Said method. "If it has an empty seat I'd be happy to drive it" Claims Moore. Boris Said who will run in several major series this year has been a looked up to driver and mentor for Dana Moore.
