Dana Moore claims victory in the end.

Dana Moore of El Cajon, Ca. won the Legends Car main event at Cajon Speedway on Saturday night. It was Moore's first victory at the speedway. She finished a close 3rd in the Nerd Boy 7500 point's championship. Moore had nearly all top ten finishes in the 10 race series with eight of those ten finishes being top four or better.

Moore also qualified with a pole setting time for three races in a row this season. She came close to victory several times throughout the year but a little bad luck always kept her just shy of the winner's circle.

This race was extra special because Moore had vowed to donate all her race winnings to the Susan G. Komen foundation which helps fight breast cancer. Moore dominated the heat race and also won the main event, which means she will be able to donate the most money possible.

"We all have been working so hard to win at this track. It just couldn't have been a better ending to this season. And to be able to give the biggest purse possible for breast cancer really makes it a special win!" Said Moore.

Dana Moore has earned a great deal of respect among the Legends Car drivers. "She was out of my league, there was no catching her" Said Art Neville. Art Neville finished just a few points ahead of Moore for second place in the points. Brent Jones won the championship by finishing second in Saturday night's race.

Next years plans are still in the works for Dana Moore. She hopes to have the chance to win some more races in the Legends Car but may be headed to a different series in her quest for a career in motorsports.
