Scott Performance Wire Tri-State Challenge begins at first ever Kalamazoo Speedway event.

Salem, Ind. (June 26, 2002) -- The Scott Performance Wire Tri-State Challenge, an award based upon three selected series events in the three states the series will visit in 2002, is set to begin on Wednesday, July 3 at Kalamazoo Speedway, located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The Kalamazoo 150 Presented By Hardings Friendly Markets will be the first ever series event at Kalamazoo Speedway and the first event in the state of Michigan. The other events involved with the Scott Performance Wire Tri-State Challenge will be the July 27th event at Shady Bowl Speedway located in DeGraff, Ohio, and the September 1st event at Plymouth Speedway located in Plymouth, Indiana.

"We are really excited to be involved with the Sunoco Super Series this season," remarked Brian Scott, owner of Scott Performance Wire. "This program is designed to award drivers for their performance and for supporting the Sunoco Super Series. It's great to see the series expand into the race rich Michigan area!"

The Scott Performance Wire Tri-State Challenge will award the top three series drivers with the best overall finishes at the three events involved with a set of Scott Performance Ignition Wires.
