Y-Town Hustler makes his 2002 Sunoco Super Series debut Saturday night at Anderson Speedway.

Salem, Ind. (May 10, 2002) - Yorktown, Indiana's Rick Turner, or better known as the Y-Town Hustler will make is 2002 Sunoco Super Series debut Saturday night at Anderson Speedway in the Burkhart Advertising 150. Turner, who has had back to back ninth-place finishes in final Sunoco Super Series points, is getting a late start this year.

"I lost my Crew Chief I had for several seasons, and we didn't have a primary sponsor prior to the season starting, so at that time we decided not to run for points in 2002," remarked Turner. "We are getting a late start, but we still have plenty of races to run!"

Rick Turner Racing got some great news this week when Jim Mougeotte, President and Publisher of Great Deals of Indiana decided to make Great Deals Of Indiana the Major Sponsor for Rick Turner Racing for the remaining 2002 Sunoco Super Series season. Great Deals of Indiana is a direct mail advertising publication that has over 250,000 subscribers in Central Indiana including the cities of Indianapolis and Anderson.

Rick Turner began racing in 1979 at Winchester Speedway. Turner has raced everything from Street Stocks to ASA and NASCAR All-Pro. Since 1997, Turner has participated in 70 Sunoco Super Series events with six top-five finishes and 24 top-ten finishes. Turner is the owner and operator of Rick's Service Center in Yorktown, Indiana.
