New Format Announced For The All American 400 At The Music City Motorplex in Nashville
CRA Super Series Will Race 200 Laps and The ASA Late Model Series Will Race 200 Laps
Salem, IN (September 14, 2006) -- Official of the Music City Motorplex in Nashville, Tennessee have announced a new format for the running of this years All American 400 late model event on Sunday, November 5th. The ASA Late Model Series will have a 200-lap event, which will be followed by a 200-lap CRA Super Series event on Sunday, November 5th, those two events will make up the All American 400.
There will be an open practice on Friday, November 3 for both series competitors. Additional practice and qualifying for both series will take place on Saturday, November 4. The CRA Super Series will lock in the top 25 qualifiers for their 200 lap event, positions 26 through 30 will be the top five finishers in the Blue-Gray 100 qualifying race on Saturday evening for all CRA Super Series cars that were not locked in through qualifying. Positions 31 through 34 will be the top four teams in CRA Super Series owner points that have not yet made the race, positions 35 and 36 will be Promoters Options.
The top three finishers in the CRA Super Series March 18th All American 150 at the Music City Motorplex have guaranteed starting positions for the CRA Super Series All American 200 event, which includes winner Eddie Mercer, second place Boris Jurkovic and third place Eddie Hoffman.
The CRA Super Series All American 200 will be a special non-points event that will pay $10,000 to win down to $1000 to start. It will be an 8-tire maximum race with live pit stops.
