Salem, IN (October 12, 2003) -- Jeff Martin, Crew Chief for newly crowned Sunoco Super Series Champion Bobby Parsley, is the winner of Gladiator GarageWorks Crew Chief Of The Year Award for the 2003 Sunoco Super Series season. Martin finished the season with 90 points beating out Pat Anderson, Crew Chief for series point's runner-up Scott Hantz, who finished the season with 80 points. Dan Finkbeiner finished a distant third with 55 points. Finishing in fourth were Junior Hanley, his own Crew Chief, and Hayden Butler, Crew Chief and car owner for Jeff Lane, with 40 points apiece.

Martin's ability to help Parsley with consist finishes in the top three all season, along with Parsley's three series wins gave him his ten point margin of victory. Anderson helped Hantz to a season tie with Parsley and Fred Campbell in victories with three a piece. For his efforts in helping Parsley to the 2003 Sunoco Super Series Championship, Martin will receive a $1000 product certificate from Gladiator GarageWorks at the 2003 Sunoco Super Series Awards Banquet on January 17th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. Martin, Anderson and Finkbeiner all received $600 in product certificates for their victories during the 2003 season.

The Gladiator GarageWorks Crew Chief Award Program awarded the winning crew chief at every Sunoco Super Series with 15 points and a $200 product certificate. The second place crew chief received 10 points, and the third place crew chief received 5 points. In all nineteen different Crew Chiefs earned points in the Gladiator GarageWorks Crew Chief Of The Year Award program during the 2003 season.
