Sunoco Super Series: Scott Hantz picked up his second victory of the 2002 season in the Sunoco 100 at Indianapolis Raceway Park in Clermont, Ind. and Joel Kauffman won the narrowest title chase in Series history.

Goodyear is the only tire supplier for this Series.

Hantz held off second-place finisher Bobby Murany at the finish to win the race. Junior Hanley finished third, Fred Campbell was fourth and Chet Filip came home fifth.

Kauffman won the Tobacco Depot Fast Qualifier Award with an average speed of 113.414 mph around the 6/10-mile oval. His seventh-place finish was enough to beat Hanley for the championship by just two points.

Murany and Brian Campbell won the Goodyear Performance Awards.
