Tobacco Depot sponsors Sunoco Super Series Fast Qualifier Award.

Salem, IN (May 2, 2002) -- After sponsoring the Fast Qualifier Award at the Sunoco Super Series season opener on April 20th at Anderson Speedway, Tobacco Depot has decided to step up and become the sponsor of the Fast Qualifier Award for the remainder of the 2002 season. The Tobacco Depot Fast Qualifier Award winner will receive a $100 bonus at each of the remaining 18 events on the 2002 schedule. The only exception will be for the Anderson 400, were Tobacco Depot will award a $200 bonus to that events Fast Qualifier.

"We are getting ready to expand our business into other areas," explained Tobacco Depot owner and operator Dave Marsh. "Marketing the Tobacco Depot name with the Sunoco Super Series will bring us new customers as we continue to grow."

This is not Marsh's first involvement with the Sunoco Super Series, Marsh coordinated the Low Bob's Discount Tobacco Town sponsorship of the series from 1997 through 1999.

"I have missed not following the series like I did when it started in 1997," added Marsh. "I have always been a big fan of this series, it's great to see the success it has had over the years!"

Tobacco Depot will also pay a $500 bonus to the series driver that wins the most Tobacco Depot Fast Qualifier Awards during the 2002 season.

Tobacco Depot is located in Muncie, Indiana, it is a full service discount tobacco retailer with plans to expand into several Central Indiana areas in the near future.
