EVAN JACKSON MOTORSPORTS ANNOUNCES 2005 RACING SCHEDULE

Salem, IN (February 22, 2005) -- Evan Jackson Motorsports, with 21-year-old driver Evan Jackson, has announced plans to compete in ten CRA Super Series events in 2005. The Muncie, Indiana native will begin his 2005 CRA Super Series season on April 24th when the series returns to the famous "Highbanks" of Winchester Speedway, the sight of Jackson's first CRA Super Series victory in June of 2002. In that event, Jackson managed to get by veteran series racer Matt Hagans going into turn one after getting the white flag, to get the victory.

Jackson will then compete with the CRA Super Series at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway on April 30th, Jackson picked up his second series victory of 2004 at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway last July in winning the Goodyear 100. From there Jackson will race in the series event at Indianapolis Raceway Park on May 15th. Last season Jackson picked up his second overall series victory by winning the Steve Keller Tri-Axle Trucking 100 at IRP in May of 2004.

Jackson also plans on competing with the CRA Super Series at Toledo Speedway on May 29th, at Illiana Motor Speedway on June 25th, back at Winchester Speedway on September 5th, at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway on September 11th, at I-70 Speedway on October 1st, at the series season championship event at Salem Speedway on October 23rd, and at the All American 300 at the Music City Motorplex in Nashville, Tennessee on November 6th.

"We will be racing on the bigger tracks that the CRA Super Series will visit in 2005," remarked Jackson. "We are on a limited budget at this time, I am going to compete at the tracks I feel I can do the best at this season. I would like to compete for the series championship and race every event this season, but we need to have some additional sponsor help to do that!"

Jackson will have veteran late model Crew Chief Jimmy King turning the wrenches and doing the race setups again in 2005. King has turned the wrenches for several late model and stock car winners over the years, and helped Jackson get a victory in the prestigious Snowflake 100 at the 2002 Snowball Derby and Jackson's two CRA Super Series victories in 2004.
