DIRT BIG BLOCK MODIFIED POINT LEADER ALAN JOHNSON STILL WINLESS AT BREWERTON SPEEDWAY

BREWERTON, NY...Current DIRT Big Block Modified point leader Alan Johnson is still winless at Brewerton Speedway going into race competition this Friday, May 12. Johnson will look to visit victory lane this Friday at the D-shaped DIRT Demon on Ferris Industries Night. The DIRT Big Block Modifieds, IMCA Modifieds, ESDCA Mod Lites and Four Cylinder Super Stocks will all be in action plus One on One Spectator Races. Show time is 7:30 p.m.

Tim Fuller, Matt Sheppard and Billy Decker have all claimed DIRT Big Block Modified feature race wins at Brewerton Speedway this season. Jimmy Phelps, Danny Johnson, Pat Ward, Kevin Bates, Steve Hulsizer, Chuck Bower, Scott Prentice, Ryan Phelps, Jim Witko Jr., Vic Coffey, Tom Sears Jr., Stewart Friesen, Tony Buffa, Todd Stewart, Dan Vauter and Gary Tomkins are also looking for that first win of the season against the talented cast.

Johnny Hill, Kevan Cook, Gary Jeffries, Les Hubbard and Richard Townsend are the top five drivers to date in the IMCA Modified class. Tim Devendorf, Doug Williams, Lowell Zehr, Ken Gamlen and Ray Donhauser make up the top five currently in the ESDCA Mod Lite division. Russell Erwin, Chuck Powelczyk, Todd Williamson, Lorrie Herbert and Chris Kranz occupy the top five slots in the Four Cylinder Super Stock division.

Fans can take to the track this Friday in the One on One Spectator Races. Drivers must have a pit pass and a helmet to participate. The vehicle must be street legal which includes registration and current inspection. The One on One Spectator Races is an elimination style format.

The first 1,000 fans through the Brewerton Speedway gates this Friday night will receive a 2006 Magnetic Schedule courtesy of Syracuse.com and Brewerton Speedway. Ferris Industries Night will also mark the official start of the 2006 Junior Fan Club at the D-shaped DIRT Demon. The Brewerton Speedway Junior Fan Club is the oldest' of its' kind in Central New York.

Brewerton Speedway gates on Friday, May 12 will open at 5:30 p.m. Race competition on Ferris Industries Night will start at 7:30 p.m. For more information please go on line to www.brewertonspeedway.com or call the track office at 315-668-6906 or the race line at 668-RACE.
