DIRT MOTORSPORTS TO CONTINUE SANCTION OF BREWERTON SPEEDWAY AND FULTON SPEEDWAY IN 2007

FULTON, NY -- DIRT Motorsports will continue to sanction both Brewerton Speedway and Fulton Speedway for the upcoming 2007 race season. Brewerton Speedway will feature the DIRT Big Block Modifieds under the DIRT banner, while Fulton Speedway will feature the DIRT Big Block Modifieds, DIRT Sportsman, and DIRT Pure Stock / Street Stock divisions.

In weekly competition at the popular Friday night Brewerton Speedway will be the DIRT Big Block Modifieds, IMCA Modifieds, ESDCA Mod Lites, and 4-Cylinder Super Stocks. On Saturdays, Fulton Speedway will come alive with DIRT Big Block Modifieds, DIRT Sportsman, Pro Stocks, and Pure Stock/Street Stocks. The Pro Stock division will not fall under the DIRT banner, but will follow a much looser rules format, yet to be determined.

Both tracks will feature the 4-Cylinder Enduro division on a bi-weekly basis as in the past with special appearances by the Midstate Vintage Stock Car Club. The ESDCA Mod Lite division will also be at Fulton Speedway around a dozen times. Several DIRT Sportsman shows are being planned for Brewerton Speedway as well. Both tracks will each feature a 3-race Mini-Series for Dirt-type Modifieds with Victoria 200 rules including sail panels and a yet to be determined tire rule.

Both Brewerton and Fulton Speedway will allow 358-Modifieds to run with their Big Block Modified counterparts in a combined weekly DIRT Modified division offering DIRT Big Block Modified points. The 358-Modifieds will race under 2004 DIRT Rules, with no rev limiter and a weight of 2,400 pounds. The 358-Modifieds will also not receive 358-Modified points or bonus and will be treated as a Big Block with the Hoosier tire mandatory.

Brewerton Speedway is set to kick off the 2007 race season on Friday April 20 with the DIRT Modifieds, IMCA Modifieds, ESDCA Mod Lites, and 4-Cylinder Super Stocks.

Fulton Speedway, home of the 22nd Annual Victoria 200, will kick off the 2007 race season on Saturday March 31 with the Inaugural running of the "Fulton March Meltdown". Featured will be the first leg of the yet to be named Mini-Series for the Dirt-type Modifieds in a 46-lap $3,000 to win special.

Also scheduled for the Fulton March Meltdown will be the DIRT Sportsman in a $750 to win 25-laps affair plus the IMCA Modifieds $500 to win, Pure Stocks $1,000 to win, and a $500 to win Enduro. The raindate for the entire show, minus the Enduro division, will be Sunday April 1.
