ISANTI, MN (September 3, 2004) - Eighteen-year-old Blake Bjorklund of Isanti, MN will make his first career ASA National Tour start this weekend when the ASA National Tour visits the Elko Speedway. The Minnesota 300 is scheduled for Labor Day at 2 PM CDT. Bjorklund will drive the #34 I-94 Raceway, truckdriver.com, Landmark Community Bank, Bjorklund Properties, Chevrolet.

Bjorklund is in his fourth year of racing and has collected many accomplishments in his short career including: The 2001 Three-Quarter Scale Rookie Of The Year and the 2002 Three-Quarter Scale Track Championship at I-94 Raceway. In 2003, Blake moved to ASA Super Late Models and won in his third and fourth career starts. The young Minnesota driver is currently second in Midwest Allstar Racing Series (MARS) points and has collected 6 feature wins in only 10 starts at his home track, ASA Member Track, I-94 Raceway in Sauk Centre this year.
