Billy Ogle takes 4th at Tazewell-- now heads to "The Masters" at Cedar Lake Speedway.

(Knoxville, TN-- June 21, 2002) As the summer schedule and pace for dirt track ace Billy Ogle intensifies throughout the Midwest Ogle and the Bill Reed Racing team are geared up to face the challenge of another big weekend with the running of "The Masters" at Cedar Lake Speedway near the Twin-Cities of Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN. Ogle is currently one of the leading contenders for the Lucas Oil sponsored Rookie of the Year award on the United Dirt Track Racing Association (UDTRA) and is ranked in the top-20 nationally in dirt late model racing. The special weekend for "The Masters" at the 3/8 mile dirt racing palace in New Richmond, WI Is part of the grueling summer trek across the heartland.

The talented driver and team owner Bill Reed took a 4th place finish at Tazewell Speedway in their home state of Tennessee this past Saturday night prior to heading back out on the national trail. On Wednesday night in a Renegade DirtCar stop at LaSalle (IL) Speedway Ogle completed the evening with an 11th place run. Ogle is a former 13-time track champion at Atomic, Crossville and Tazewell Speedways in his native Tennessee.

The Knoxville, TN native campaigns the Die Cast Digest / UPS / Calhoun's Restaurants sponsored Chevrolet Monte Carlo for Bill Reed Racing. Tennessee based partners in the Ogle-Reed racing efforts include Bonanza Produce, Fine Trucking, BiLo Market and West Haven Racing Equipment. Ogle competes in Nationally Televised events on the UDTRA circuit, which are broadcast on the SPEED Channel.
