New challenge for Tennessee driver Billy Ogle; rookie contender set to criss-cross the midwest in search of UDTRA Success.
(Knoxville, TN-- June 12, 2002) Billy Ogle, Jr. is geared up to face the challenge of the grueling summer trek across the heartland of the nation during the upcoming weeks of competition on the United Dirt Track Racing Association (UDTRA) trail. Ogle, who is a leading contender for the Lucas Oil sponsored Rookie of the Year award on the UDTRA national touring series is currently posted in the 16th position of the overall UDTRA national championship standings. In addition to the upcoming UDTRA events Ogle will be in action in Renegade DirtCar series races in conjunction with a special weeklong bonus program which could yield over $100,000 to any driver capturing 3 wins in 5 marked events on the UDTRA and Renegade DirtCar schedules.
The talented driver and team owner Bill Reed will be in Davenport, IA on Tuesday, June 18th before traveling on to LaSalle (IL) Speedway on Wednesday, June 19th prior to heading to the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area where they will compete at New Richmond, WI's Cedar Lake Speedway during the running of"The Masters" the weekend of June 14-15.
