MARNE, MI -- Tonight's events at Berlin Raceway have been rained out. Qualifying for all three divisions as well as two Sportsman heat races had been completed when light rain began, persisting long enough to wet the track and force the cancellation.

Late Model qualifying results will carry over to next Saturday. Fred Campbell turned in the night's fastest time (as he has for each points week this season) at 15.458 seconds. His time was also the fastest qualifying lap of the season. Following Campbell in the qualifying order were Lee Anderson, Greg Usher, Tom Thomas and Dave Stehouwer.

Super Stock and Sportsman qualifying results will not carry over to next week (Ray Clay and Al Marcott had turned in the fastest times, respectively).

The Spring Championship races scheduled for tonight will be held next week, along with a special 50-lap Super Stock feature (in lieu of the normal 30 laps).

Ticket holders for tonight's races were issued rain checks to be used at any later race of equal value since four events were not completed.
