Marne, Mich. (August 2, 2003) -- 1998 ASA Rookie runner-up Peter Cozzolino won the Meijer 250 presented by BFGoodrich Tires at Berlin Raceway, the 11th event of the 2003 ASA Racing Series season. Cozzolino of Indianapolis powered around pole sitter Robbie Pyle on the 193rd circuit to take the top spot for the second and final occasion, leading the final 58 laps. This is the second victory in three events for Cozzolino, as he scored his initial series win at Indianapolis Raceway Park in June.

Current point's leader Kevin Cywinski of Wisconsin finished in second spot with third-year driver Chris Wimmer producing a career best third. Three-time ASA Champion Butch Miller placed fourth with Toby Porter placing fifth. 1995 ASA titlist Bryan Reffner crossed the line in sixth with Greg Stewart, Reed Sorenson, Rick Beebe and Gary St. Amant rounding out the top-10 finishers.

Drivers from the state of Michigan that competed in the Meijer 250 presented by BFGoodrich Tires included Butch Miller of Coopersville in fourth and Gary Sherman of Lansing in 21st.
