HAMPTON, GA - Several divisions' championship points races have heated up over the last few weeks, making the final two weeks of competition crucial.

In the Semi-Pro B division, Brad Horne and Grant Enfinger are tied with 873 points. Each driver has one win, but Horne's average finish is slightly higher than Enfinger's, and a tie-breaker at this point would give the championship to Horne. But the race isn't confined to just these two drivers; sitting eight points out is Ron Johnson, with Sean Davis 13 and Cindy Anderson 15 points back.

Once again, the Pro division will likely come down to the final race, as three-time champion Doug Stevens trails 15-year-old Reed Sorenson by nine points. Sorenson was leading last year's race until the final weeks, when Stevens swooped in for his third championship.

The Semi-Pro A division has another tight race, with Brian Meredith holding a scant four-point lead over Brandon Brilliant. With double points on the line, this week's races become even more important.

TRADING CARDS: More and more Legends drivers are now sporting autograph cards, just like the pros, but Myron Guyton is probably the only one who can boast that his is selling for $22.50 on the web.

Actually, Guyton's card isn't even from his racing career, it's from his days as a football star with the Super Bowl Champion New York Giants (1990).

"I don't even know where they got that from," Guyton said, amazed, when he saw the auction piece.
