Powers holds off Johnson, Lady Luck on Myers Jr. side.

The Miller Lite Open-Wheel Modifieds and the Pure Street cars also shared the spotlight with the World of Outlaw Gumout cars with two familiar faces back in victory lane. Campbell racer Robert Powers notched his third win in seven days at the track. Pure Street racer Cline Myers Jr. scored his fifth win on the year, continuing his undefeated streak at the Auto Tire and Parts Racepark.

After winning the second heat race Powers started on the outside of the first row for the Miller Lite Modified main event. Powers quickly dispatch polesitter Danny Sissom to move into the lead by the end of the first lap.

On the fourth circuit Benton racer Terry Johnson moved around Terry Baker to take over the second position. Johnson began to pursue the leader and in the closing laps of the event moved in contention but couldn't make the pass.

Baker moved from his fifth starting spot up to second but fell back after the pass from Johnson and held off charges from Jeff Parmer and Chris Hall to finish third. Parmer and Hall maintained their positions across the finish line finishing fourth and fifth.

In Pure Street action Cline Myers Jr. looked as though he streak of four wins would come to an end. The Scott City driver could not move any higher through the field then second and would take the checkered flag in the third position.

After post race inspection Patrick Naeger first career feature win would be denied after the engine failed to meet specified vacuum numbers. The second place finisher of Matt Naeger would also fail inspection which moved the third finishing car of Myers Jr. to the top-podium finish.

Matt Naeger took the lead on the first lap and led almost the entire distance of the race before getting passed by Patrick on the final turn. The top-two cars of Naeger and Naeger battled fiercely with Myers Jr., Mike Burnett and Danny Hampton.
