After a five week break to allow Qld teams to compete in major sprintcar events in NSW and Victoria, sprintcar racing action returns to Brisbane International Speedway on February 16 with a strong field of nominations in both the Open and OzSprintcar divisions.

Headlining the Open cars will be Tony Bridge, seeking his fifth main event win of the season and looking to regain the lead in the Club Championship pointscore. Bridge's rivals on the night include Cameron Gessner, who is back from the World Series Sprintcars tour where he finished 9th in points, Ricky Mitchell, Peter Thorley, Brock Dean and Kathy Kelly. Pit gate entry is available from 4:30pm and General Admission is open from 5pm.
