23 September, 2003 - The Craft Disbury Racing team are going to be Grizzly and ready to roar with Kodiak this year in their quest for the World Series Sprintcars Championship.
Bill Roberts' Grizzly Dyno shocks will be a major part of the team with Roberts acting as crew chief for former World Series Champion, Brad "Hollywood" Heywood throughout the 2003/04 Season. His involvement with the team will not only assist Heywood and the team but also Sprintcar racers across Australia.
"I will be using Brad as a huge part of my testing and development program to assist drivers across Australia," said Roberts from his Sydney base this morning. "By being involved with a team at this level it gives me the opportunity to further develop shocks and also the Eagle chassis for Australian conditions."
Also being the Eagle Chassis importer throughout Australia Roberts' comment when asked about his decision to join with Craft Disbury racing was simply "I am glad to be involved with such a professional team. No matter what they do it is completed in a meticulous fashion whether that be preparation of the car or exposing their sponsors, everything they do is done in the most professional manner."
"This year they are really forging new ways to involve their sponsors to ensure they get a return for their investment."
Along with Grizzly Dyno Shocks the Sydney based Kodiak Automotive will be a part of the livery that will make up the beautifully presented Craft Disbury Racing Sprintcars throughout 2003/04.
Led by John and Joe Squillacioti Kodiak Automotive have been servicing the Automotive industry with car products including coolants, brake cleaners, anti-freeze, engine flush, power steering fluid and almost any other lubricants car dealers require since 1993.
Kodiak Automotive have the ability to package their products to individualise for your company. While based in Sydney they have clients in almost all states of Australia.
"This is the first time I have been involved as a sponsor of a Sprintcar team and I am really looking forward to it both on a personal and business level," commented co-director of Kodiak Automotive, Joe Squillacioti. "I used to go to the speedway many years ago at Liverpool and was heavily involved then, now I am delighted to be a part of the team for what seems like a very exciting year ahead."
This is the third of numerous corporate partnership announcements that will be made by Craft Disbury Racing in the leading up to the announcement of their major partners at the season launch on October 26.
