Cris Eash and Don Kreitz Jr. won the twin twenty lap features at Williams Grove on friday night. The win was worth $2,200 to each driver.

Cris Eash started eighth in the first feature. Eash passed Jess Thomas for the fourth spot on lap two and moved around URC star Sean Michael, two laps later. On the next lap, Eash passed Shawn Keen and Bob Howard to take the lead.

Fred Rahmer, who finished second in the first feature, moved into second place on lap eight but was unable to catch Eash.

This was Cris Eash's first feature win of the season at Williams Grove. Earlier in the evening, Eash won the fourth heat race, his eleventh heat race win of the season at the Grove.

In the second feature of the evening, Shawn Keen started on the pole. Len Thompson, who started on the outside of the front row took the lead at the start. Thompson led the first lap but was quickly relegated to second place when he jumped the cushion in turn four allowing Kreitz an easy pass for the lead.

Fred Rahmer started seventh in the second feature but was in second place by the third lap. Rahmer passed Len Thompson, Shawn Keen and Sean Michael to take second place early in the race.

Rahmer caught Kreitz in the waning laps of the race but Krietz, who had been running the low groove, moved up the track and used the middle lane to put two car lengths between him and Rahmer when the checkered fell.

Local favorite, Lance Dewease, broke early in the first feature and was not able to start the second feature in the Dyer 461. Lance, currently second in championship points battle, replaced Jim Nace in the #41 Jim Shuttlesworth car and started in the rear. After starting last, Dewease was 16th on the second lap. Dewease ended the evening by finishing 17th in second feature.

Former WoO driver, Jeff Shepard, had been driving the #41 Shuttlesworth car but is now behind the wheel of the #4j sprinter. Shepard finished fourth in the first feature. In the second feature, Shepard was involved in a lap two incident involving Todd Shaffer, Sean Michael and Cliff Brian. Cliff Brian was able to continue. Shepard reported to the pits and made repairs but was blocked in the pit lane as he was being pushed off by wreckers towing the 17e of Eash.

Lance Dewease shattered the 10 lap track record, knocking five seconds off the record in winning heat race two. Dewease started sixth and led the first lap, crossing under the flagstand as second place was exiting turn four. Dewease's new ten lap record stands at 2:55.67. The old mark of 3:00.86 had been set by Todd Shaffer on March 2, 1997.
