Gary Wright, Chad Blonde, Terry McCarl, Michael Lewis, and Clint Garner used WESMAR Racing Engines to take Sprint Car victories this past weekend.
Wright was an American Sprint Car Series winner at Memphis Friday, driving the WESMAR equipped Southwest Expresslines entry.
"That's the best car I've had in a long time," said Wright after his third career ASCS triumph at Memphis Motorsports Park. "I could go anywhere with that car, it was perfect. I probably haven't had a car that good since one of the Amarillo races last year when we lapped up to about fifth."
Chad Blonde was the winner at Mercer Raceway Saturday with his Tuckey Motorsports & Graphic Designs WESMAR-powered, Julie Blonde-owned #5.
"Mercer always treats me well," said Blonde. "I always like coming out here. We've been wanting to come out here a couple times, but we live so far away and we always worry about the rain and we've been rained out quite a bit. I wanted this to be more than my first time coming out this year."
Terry McCarl won the Interstate Racing Association-sanctioned Cedar Lake Jerry Richert Memorial for the 2nd year in a row at Cedar Lake Speedway Saturday. McCarl drove his Big Game Hunting, WESMAR-powered entry to the lead and held off Brooke Tatnell for the win.
"This race means so much to us and everyone," said McCarl from victory lane. "I knew Brooke was there and wanted this win as much as us."
Other WESMAR-powered victors include Michael Lewis at the USAC Valvoline Western States event at Rocky Mountain Raceways in Salt Lake City, Utah, while Clint Garner won at Huset's in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
