Three Wesmar Drivers Score Double Feature Wins

WESMAR Racing Engines powered Terry McCarl, Michael Lewis, and Jesse Hockett to Sprint Car wins this past weekend.

McCarl drove the Lori McCarl-owned Big Game Hunting-sponsored WESMAR-powered entry to 410 Sprint Car wins at Jackson, Minnesota and at Knoxville Raceway. Jackson's win was under the NMRA banner, while McCarl's convincing win at Knoxville vaulted him into the lead of the 2004 Knoxville Raceway season point chase. He is a five-time track champion at the Marion County Fairgrounds track.

Another multiple WESMAR powered winner last week include Jesse Hockett, who scored two wins with his WESMAR-powered entry at Double X Speedway. Hockett took two wins in feature action, along with a qualifying heat race win.

USAC Valvoline Western Sprint Car Series results from Washington State events at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe and at South Sound Speedway in Tenino were dominated by Michael Lewis's WESMAR-powered team.

Lewis set fast time at Evergreen Speedway before winning the 40-lap Feature event. Lewis took the lead on lap six at Evergreen and led the final 34 circuits en route to victory lane.

At the South Sound Speedway event, Lewis was even more dominating, leading the final 39 laps of the 40 lap event.
