WESMAR Racing Engines ran 1-2 in USAC Western States Sprint Car competition at Madera Speedway Saturday with team mates Michael Lewis and Tony Hunt crossing the finish line first.

Lewis, the defending USAC Western States Sprint Car champion, drove the WESMAR-powered Western Speed entry to the victory, leading all 40-laps of the event. Hunt finished second to Lewis. The pair also sit atop the series point standings.

Terry McCarl drove to victory on opening night at Huset's Speedway in South Dakota Sunday, driving his WESMAR-equipped Big Game Hunting entry. McCarl started deep in the pack out of the 13th starting spot to the checkered. McCarl is the defending Huset's champion in the 410 Sprint Car division.

Terry Gray (Memphis Motorsports Park), Billy Alley (Butler County Speedway), and Todd Kane (KC Raceway) were also winners using WESMAR Racing Engines this past weekend.
