Weld Racing Wheels is proving to be the choice of winners, as drivers including Jason Statler, Terry McCarl, Greg Hodnett, Mark Kinser, and Tony Stewart lead a long list of open wheel winners from coast to coast.

The most recent winner is undoubtedly Greg Hodnett, who scored his third career win at Susquehanna Speedway Park Thursday evening aboard the Lee Stauffer prepped Apple Dealers entry. Hodnett and Stauffer are also the leading feature winners at Williams Grove Speedway with five victories.

Jason Statler is having a banner season with the Weld-equipped Rios entry. Statler recently scored a $5,800 win at Silver Dollar Speedway's Bradway Memorial, a Golden State Challenge Series event.

Terry McCarl has been stout with the Weld-shod Mark Burch entry, scoring twice last weekend in 360 competition at 34 Raceway and Butler, Nebraska.

Mark Kinser made a triumphant return to Knoxville Raceway, taking the recent World of Outlaws event there aboard his father Karl's MAXIM.

Tony Stewart used time off from Nextel Cup NASCAR competition to win aboard George Lasoski's 360 entry at Sedalia in WoW competition. Stewart made his first start at Knoxville Raceway the following evening with Lasoski's Weld equipped entry, where he passed 11 cars to earn hard charger status.

USAC winners relying on Weld Racing Wheels include Dave Steele with the USAC Silver Crown division at Memphis Motorsports Park; Tracy Hines with the USAC Sprints at I-69 Speedway; Jay Drake in USAC Sprints at Beaver Dam; Michael Lewis doubling up with USAC Western States Sprints at Madera Raceway; Tony Hunt taking USAC Western States Midgets at Madera Raceway; Otyher wingless winners include Rip Williams with the USAC/CRA Sprints at Perris Auto Speedway; Brandon Petty at Twin Cities Raceway, Putnamville, and Lawrenceburg; and Dickie Gaines winning twice at Lawrenceburg. Josh Laktos took two USAC Ford Focus wins in California, scoring at Watsonville Speedway Madera Raceway.

Other recent winners include Kevin Pylant, Ed Lynch Jr., Loren Langerud, Mark Smith, Fred Rahmer, Cris Eash, Blake Robertson, Billy Alley, Chad Kemenah, David Hesmer, Zach Chappell, Garry Lee Maier, Travis Rilat, Travis Rilat, Kenny Adams, Curt Michael, Garrett Ishii, Paul Sides, Rick Ideus, and Ray Bull.
