FAYETTEVILLE, GA - United Sprint Car Series and Swainsboro Raceway officials have announced the schedule of events for the USCS Outlaw Thunder event this Friday night on the 1/2-mile clay oval. The pit and grandstand gates will open at 5 p.m., with hot laps set for 7 p.m., and racing is scheduled for 8 p.m.

USCS is making its first visit ever to Swainsboro Raceway and will have the Air Flow Research Dash, heat races, a consolation race, and a 30-lap main event. Along with the USCS winged outlaw sprint cars, the Swainsboro Raceway Late Models, Sportsmen, Super Street, Pure Stocks, and Mini Stocks will also be in action with feature races.

Among the top USCS entries are Defending and Three-time National Champion Terry Gray of Bartlett, TN. Gray is the current point leader of the USCS National standings, and the Sunbelt Tour standings. Gray won an American Outlaw Action Series event at Swainsboro Raceway in September of 2003. USCS bought the North Carolina-based AOAS in January of 2004.

Kenny Adams of Malabar, FL is the point leader of the USCS Outlaw Thunder dirt standings. Adams, who has a 2002 sprint car win at Swainsboro Raceway, will be looking for his third straight USCS victory after taking wins in Travelers Rest, SC on April 2 and in Batesburg, SC on April 3. The "Malabar Missile" is second in National and Sunbelt Tour points.

Other top entries expected include Curt Michael of Ocean View, DE, Brice Wrenn of Lexington, SC, Danny Martin Jr. of Sarasota, FL, Tom Winegardner Jr. of Pierson, FL, Red Stauffer of Winter Park, FL, USCS Rookie of the Year point leader R.J. Johnson of Wesley Chapel, FL, Butch Pendergrass of Winston-Salem, NC, and Chad Allum of Kannapolis, NC.

The 2004 AOAS Champion Johnny Bridges of Cherryville, NC is expected along with Scott Young of Mooresville, NC, Randy Helton of Palmetto, GA, Brian Thomas of Auburn, GA, Bill Moore of Denver, NC, Jerry Jones, of Clermont, FL, Doug Gold of Concord, NC, Ben Basinger of Salisbury, NC, Daryl Smith of Gibsonton, FL, and Johnny Gilbertson Jr. of Tampa, FL.
