O'Reilly ASCS Tour reschedules Texarkana for May 2.

TULSA, Okla. (April 23, 2003) - The O'Reilly American Sprint Car Series National Tour presented by Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores and United Trailers will make up this past weekend's rained out event at 67 Texarkana Speedway on Friday, May 2. The event will be an ASCS Gulf South Regional event as well.

Following the Friday night event atop 67 Texarkana Speedway's semi-banked clay oval, the O'Reilly ASCS National Tour, along with the ASCS Gulf South Region, will move on to Champion Park Speedway in Haughton, LA, the following night, Saturday May 3.

The opening weekend of May in Texarkana and Haughton will mark the first of a pair of O'Reilly ASCS National events for each track this season. The ASCS National Tour will return to 67 Texarkana Speedway on Friday, July 11, while Champion Park Speedway will host the series once again on Saturday, August 30.

The 2003 O'Reilly Auto Parts American Sprint Car Series National Tour presented by Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores and United Trailers features more than 50 nights of racing at 27 different tracks throughout Arkansas, Iowa, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas. Including the Regional events throughout the Gulf South, Sooner and Rocky Mountain Regions, the American Sprint Car Series will present approximately 100 nights of racing at nearly 50 different tracks in fourteen states.
