Steve Kinser remains undefeated at Hollywood Hills, taking his seventh win in seven World of Outlaws starts at the New Mexico facility. Kinser, driver of the Quaker State MAXIM, maintained his series point lead by winning the $10,000 event, with Jason Sides scoring a career-best second place finish with the ARAMARK MAXIM. Eight of the top ten finishers at Hollywood Hills relied on MAXIM Race Chassis.
Dale Blaney stormed through the Lawrenceburg All Star Circuit of Champions field from 15th starting spot with his Fritz Andrews MAXIM to win the Fall Classic, worth $12,000. Dean Jacobs pushed the Ray Pullins MAXIM from 17th starting spot to finish second in the event.
Stevie Smith put his family-owned MAXIM in victory lane at the Selinsgrove National Open, earning $7,500 for his performance. Mark Smith won the first heat race with the ZEMCO MAXIM setting a new eight-lap track record of 2:13.65. Greg Hodnett won the dash with the Stewart MAXIM and set a new five-lap track record of 1:23.75. Chad Layton, who was fourth claimed the 2003 410 Series title with his MAXIM.
Dustin Daggett put an exclamation point on the 2003 Sprints on Dirt season by sweeping the twin-15 features at Hartford Speedway Park. Daggett took the first 15-lap event from the front row with his MAXIM, then won the second 15-lapper after charging from way back in 17th starting spot. Daggett is the 2003 SOD point champion.
