ASCS Sizzlin' Summer Speedweek -- The Tracks

TULSA, Okla. (July 6, 2006) -- Six rugged nights of racing over the course of nine nights are about to commence for the O'Reilly American Sprint Cars on Tour in the form of the 14th Annual COMP Cams ASCS Sizzlin' Summer Speedweek.

With five different ASCS Speedweek champions over the past five years, the opening portion of Speedweek sports a new look for 2006 with a pair of tracks hosting the prestigious slate of events for the first time.

Darren Stewart, who edged Gary Wright by just two points for the 2006 Speedweek crown, will have his hands full as his title defense begins at Bolivar, MO, on Friday night, then winds its way through South Coffeyville, Sapulpa, Mesquite, Oklahoma City and Lawton.

Bolivar Speedway (Bolivar, MO)

Round One: Friday, July 7

Description: 3/8-mile high-banked clay oval

then west to Frontage Road, then 0.3 mile south, then one-half mile west.

Notes: Bolivar Speedway hosts its first ASCS Speedweek event and first ASCS National Tour event since 2003. The Winged Outlaw Warriors will join forces with the O'Reilly ASCoT shoes for the Sizzln' Summer Speedweek opener.
