New television show to feature St. Francois County Raceway.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- (Apri 5, 2002) A new television magazine featuring motorsports in the Southeast Missouri area will soon be hitting the airwaves on KFVS-TV (Channel 12) in Cape Girardeau.

The program, "Motorsports Racing," is being produced by Ron Duff Video Productions of Cape Girardeau and will feature the St. Francois County Raceway in Farmington and the SEMO Motor Speedway in Sikeston (Blodgett) on its first program set to air at 11 a.m., Sunday, April 21st. Jim Childers will be the host of the show.

One of the segments of the first show will feature an up-close look at one of the region's outstanding young sprint car drivers, Darren Clayton of Sikeston.

The first show will also feature various racing highlights and shots of the St. Francois County Raceway and the SEMO Motor Speedway as well as the World of Outlaws show at the I-55 Raceway in Pevely on March 30th.
