Circle Wheel Racing Supports ASCS Southern Tour
From Circle Wheel Racing, TULSA, Okla. (August 1, 2007) -- Circle Racing is proud to announce its involvement with the O'Reilly ASCS Southern Tour for three events in 2007. CRW will sponsor the Dash races at the "three in a row" events at Mileback, Tri-County and Lavonia speedways, which kick off the Labor Day weekend. The winner of each Circle Racing Wheel Dash will receive a certificate worth $150 towards the purchase of Circle Racing Wheels. Heintz Performance (704-455-9422 ) is your local Circle Wheel Dealer.
The man steering Circle Racing Wheels these days is a competitive Sprint car racer from Fresno California who keeps his fingers on the pulse of the racing community. Mike Stallings spends most of his weekdays working in the CRW plant but his evenings and weekends are spent wrenching on and racing his 360 and 410 Sprint cars. Mike saw the need for a Sprint car wheel that would be rugged, competitive and readily available to Sprint car racers all over the USA. After one full season of development, testing and certification, Stallings was ready to bring CRW's newest product to market.
All CRW Sprint wheels are made in the USA from T-6, 6061 Aluminum. The shells are spun to insure absolute minimum runout. The centers are all machined in our California manufacturing facility and are held to the highest standard. Stallings designed and developed the beadlock to ensure the tire will not spin on the wheel under race conditions. Finally all wheels are polished to mirror finish, inside and out and packaged in a sturdy CRW box.
The new Sprint car line-up is gaining popularity with the west coast racers who have had great results with their new wheels and CRW is looking to do the same in the east.
CRW would like to wish all the ASCS Southern tour competitors the best of luck for 2007 and we look forward to being part your Labor Day festivities.
The ASCS Southern Tour is slated for 18 nights of action in 2007 at a dozen different tracks throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia.
The 2007 season marks the 16th year of sanctioning Sprint Car racing for the American Sprint Car Series. With a dozen different Regions in addition to the O'Reilly American Sprint Cars on Tour National series, ASCS will sanction approximately 240 nights of racing at more than 100 different race tracks throughout at least 30 different states and Canada.
