Dain Naida from Belleville, MI is finding himself in familiar territory once again, atop the Sprints On Dirt point standings. After winning the Rookie of the Year title in 1998, and then grabbing the championship in 1999, the SOD hot-shoe hopes to keep the Kurt Lawicki owned #54 on top. After a strong seventh place run against a very tough field at Limaland Motorsports Park,

Naida gave himself a 23 point advantage over Portland, MI's Dustin Daggett. Daggett, after a win at Limaland, vaulted from eighth in points all the way to second. John Gall, 2002 SOD Champion Ronnie Beale, and Jim Wohlfeil round out the top five. Four races have been completed in 2003, with 20 point events remaining on the schedule.
