SELINSGROVE, Pa. - For the second week in a row, Selinsgrove Speedway officials canceled the Sat., May 31 racing program of sprint cars, late models, pro stocks and roadrunners due to rain.
The 2nd Annual Ink Spot Printing Pro Stock 20 that was scheduled for this Saturday has been rescheduled for next Sat., June 7 at 7 p.m. Joining the pro stocks will be the Cindy Rowe Paintless Dent Repair sprint cars, MAPCO Machine Shop late models and roadrunners.
Track officials also announced that the 23rd Annual Housing Products, Inc. Jack Gunn Memorial for sprint cars has been rescheduled for Sat., July 19. The 30-lap Gunn Memorial will replace the Twin 20-lap feature format that night.
The June 7 championship event for the pro stocks will pay $1,000 to win and $100 to start the 20-lap main event. Gerald Kratzer of Selinsgrove is the defending winner of the event. In addition, the roadrunner division will compete in two 10-lap features, one of which is a makeup event from May 17.
